Yesterday was busy and happy. It was a “Terrific Tuesday” a.k.a. Mom day. I took her to lunch at a new restaurant: Hawaiian Bros. We ate authentic Hawaiian ono grinds* and had lively conversations.
*ono grinds is Hawaiian slang for delicious food.
Then, inspired by Tara, I drove to three stores in search of bubble gum. We chewed the gum (Trident, not too good for bubbles, FYI) until we deemed it soft enough. We could only blow small, quickly popping bubbles. The goal: a bubble inside a bubble. We both used to be able to do that!
Sorry I missed the post day. Please forgive me. I was happy being busy and blowing bubbles.
