We arrived back in Dallas last night. This time, we’re staying in the neighborhood of Deep Ellum. We explored this area intensively when we lived here- over the past four and a half years- now we “live” here.
Here’s the deal: we are on the top floor of a ginormous building situated on a DART train line and across from a huge hospital. Both have lights on that could land a plane. Great for transportation, not so great for sleeping. Hence the 3:21 am waking.
Here is my life lesson from this revelation: wear an eye mask to sleep.
A ginormous building yields loads of people…. We encountered several extremely nice and generous people when we arrived, and the code we were given to the elevator was simply wrong.
Another life lesson: say, “Hi!” to people. #justsayhibook
Time for more adventures!!!
Aloha,
Denise
