Doing NDBs and enjoying explorations

Last night I did a great NDB*: I went riding from twilight to dark (6p-8p)!! I went with a friend and we rode a familiar trail, but the differences were staggering to me. As the sun set, the colors and shadows were different, and the crowds of runners and bikers were significant. There were packs of runners, mostly 6 wide and 10 deep, that filled the lane of the trail. The other bikers, coming from both directions, were also plentiful. I have to say, I like morning riding better, to avoid those nuisances, and enjoy the rising of the sun.

My tracker posted 25.36 miles in two hours and three minutes. I had 23 achievements and rode 12.4 mi/h. I slept like a log.

Exploring the same places at different times of day proves enlightening. What I learned is the people are more plentiful and different, the colors in nature are different and brilliant, and riding with someone else provides lively conversations, improved cardio health, and added FUN to my day.

Stay well. Stay curious. Stay connected. Have FUN every day!!
