Helpful, happy hands

Days 4 & 5 of my Empire State trail tour are in the books.

I am happy, empowered, and grateful. Our leaders are exceptional!! (Discovery Bike Tours) Heather, Eric,  & Wayne go out of their way to be helpful: getting things out of the van/trailer for us, with NO condemnation; riding with riders who need extra support; offering “tips, tricks, & techniques” to make our rides safer and more comfortable, to name a few things.

Yesterday’s ride for me was my PB & NDB: I rode 45.31 miles (my personal best) and I’ve never ridden that far. Today, was a shorter ride day, but it was SUPER HILLY and on the streets/roads. Again, my gratitude to our leaders & my fellow riders who graciously offered support and were so FUN to ride with. Shout out to Jeanne, John, Eric, Kathy, Marty, and Cecilia.

This experience has been educational, eye-opening, and empowering. I’m looking forward to my next one…with my HH!!!

Stay well. Stay curious. Have FUN every day!!

Aloha🌺,

Denise

Our ride day ended up at this fab hotel, built in the 1800s and became a hotel in 1997.
