Yesterday marked the sixty-first birthday of my amazing HH Mark. We didn’t get to celebrate until after his workday, but we made up for it during the evening.
We perused a local art gallery, enjoyed a high-ceiling, wood-paneled, fire-blazing lobby of a historic hotel, then delighted in a feast of grilled Spanish octopus, fresh sushi, gruyere covered Beeman Ranch Texas wagyu beef burger, and sparkler-topped ginger sorbet.




The morning after, he enjoyed his Krispy Kreme donut before work. I’m fortunate and grateful to have shared 43 birthdays with this wonderful man. He makes aging hot!

Overall, he’s well on his way to a wonderful year of FUN, adventure, and sweetness.
