In five days, our 1505 apt will he cleaned, cleared out, and added to our “great places we’ve lived” list. We have had two and half years of FUN in the city. New home bases await!!
Yesterday, I scraped snd scrubbed the floors, leaving the tiles gleaming and my fingernails split at the nail bed. I packed a few more treasures for storage, and tucked them safely in their storage room home. I cleaned the fridge, oven, and bathrooms till they sparkled. The keys will be handed over on Sunday.
Yesterday, I reflected in the life lessons and experiences of the past four years. Arriving two days before the covid pandemic lockdown, living and thriving through it, and leaving our corner of Downtown Dallas at the beginning of Sweet Summer, I am happy and satisfied. Life really is good.
