The (stone) cows of the Trinity River intrigued me. Actually, the first time I saw them, from atop the levee, I thought they were alive and very still. Then, I rode down to them and realized they are stone statues. I’ve enjoyed riding to them, posing with them, sharing them w/ my daughter, and today, introducing them. They are the residents of the Trammell Crow Park.
They are Annette (photographed and introduced in an earlier blog post), Ruth, Margaret, Lucy, and Elsa. They watch over the Trammell Crow Park and the walkers, cyclists, lovers, and mothers who visit them.
I hope they are part of every visitor’s agenda. These sweet, happy cows brought smiles to me.

Denise
