Slow down and smell the roses

Snow one day, sun the next. Having FUN in any weather and in any city.

I’m leaving for my Camino in 44 days. I’m still packing, re-packing, and researching. I’m excited and trained. I will not let the coronavirus scare me. I know it’s spreading, but I will not live in fear.  I’ll wash my hands more often.

These events and weather patterns remind me to stop and smell the roses which translate to enjoy every day, every situation, every person. I find activities indoors. I walk outside when the sun’s out. I appreciate people in my life.

I’m going to “slow down and smell God’s roses;” 44 more days until my step off. As pilgrims say, “Buen Camino!🥾” I’ve planned this for almost a year. I want this.

Here’s a great article about the Caminos in Europe, compliments of our cousin Hillard:

The sun peeks out through the clouds welcoming me to another day of adventure and discovery. Here I go!

Aloha🌺,
