I’ve met some amazing people in my adopted homes (Temple, TX, Baltimore, MD, La Habra Heights, CA, Honolulu, HI and Abu Dhabi, UAE) and I am increasingly grateful for the reunions that I have experienced through my connections on social media.
In Abu Dhabi, I met my friend James from my friend Erin; I met Julie from my friend Susan and I reconnected most recently with a friend from our daughters’ school in Hawaii. Thank you, again Facebook!! What a small world!
The feeling that I am far away (from family especially) yet still “in touch” warms my heart. I wish everyone understood the power and value of this.
