Facebook advertises a lot of things: clothes, imperfect veggies, activities, etc. So, I clicked on a bike activity in my neighborhood, and voila: I made a new friend, shout out to Laurie who was awesome to ride 18 miles with and completed a second #Camino2020 training for the day (I walked three miles in the morning).
I also realized that when the post says (Fast) ride, they mean it! The others took off and left Laurie and
I loved the ride, except for riding thru the thick sand, reminiscent of Saadiyat Island, chatting and this NDB: evening ride.
The best self-love reward when I arrived back home was the delish dinner I prepared ahead of time and the bubble bath.
