Touring thru visitor’s eyes

Our visitor arrived at night. The city lights danced through the night air. The lively city that I call home has offerings during dark as well as sunlight. An easy walk along the Corniche then up and down the aisles of Spinneys is the introduction.

I speak with pride about my city. I love it here and I love to share its beauty, history and charm. My favorite “intro” into the culture is the Big Bus tour that weaves through the city, the bridge-attached islands and the jetty island that is Heritage Village.

To see our visitor’s face light up (like mine every time I am on the tour) when we pass the  blue Arabian Gulf waters, the tall, architecturally imaginative skyscrapers, the Sheikh Zayed Grande Mosque, malls, restaurants, villas and “white car parking lots” makes me so happy.

This is a beautiful, charming, lovely place to live, visit and share. See it with your eyes open and enjoy!

Aloha,

Denise
