What to do in a new city, on a nice day, for a good cause????

Here’s an answer to the age-old question, What to do in a new city, on a nice day, for a good cause????

My answer: Run through the city for a charity, of course.

That’s exactly what I did. I ran up then down Main Street of Downtown Dallas, highlighting historic buildings and places, whilst talking (narrating) to several lovelies on a Zoom call, to raise awareness and funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

I started at the giant eyeball, shared the Joule Hotel, the Pegasus building & Plaza, the Adolphus Hotel, Dealey Plaza, JFK Memorial & Plaza, The Old Red Museum, and finished back at the giant eyeball.

I was joined on the call by the delightful Kerri, Cammie, Susan, and the call creator Sharael, who has spearheaded this virtual run in 50 states for 50 days to commemorate her 50th birthday and her successful treatment of breast cancer. 50fortheCure.org

Proudly and loudly I represented the GREAT state of Texas. I’ve learned so much from walking and riding through the city streets, I was grateful to share and participate.

Do what you can, where you are, with what you have.

Stay well. Stay healthy. Stay positive.
