On Saturday night, we thoroughly enjoyed the Spyinx Virtuoso concert. https://www.sphinxmusic.org/sphinx-virtuosi I highly recommend seeing them. Amazing, creative talent on one stage! Kudos to all the music teachers out in the world.

Then, yesterday (Sunday), we took the RED line DART train to Richardson, then a short walk to discover a hidden gem: the Core Theatre, owned and artistically directed by James Prince. It’s a must-see place!!! https://thecoretheatre.org/

We were treated to a most excellent, clever, creative, real-life story of a man and his journey to reach his career goals. The show is called The Scenic Route (another play on words!) His story is heartfelt, believable, and relatable. It’s a MUST SEE!!!

James invited us to join his birthday celebration after the show. We stayed, chatting with the cast and the delightful man who invited us: Bill.

Meeting Bill is another FUN story: I said “Hi!” to him when he sat next to me at a symphony performance at SMU last week. I shared with him that I wrote a book, and he not only loved the sample, he bought the book! Bill invited us to see this show and meet Jim Finger, the author. Proof: Just say, “Hi!”

We met the cast and had a wonderful evening. Saying “Hi!” to people is the funnest way to live.
