Do what you love

I took back-to-back 1-hour hot, power yoga classes yesterday and felt wonderful, right after and all day and night. What I learned about myself is that my body is strong and can bend, twist, reach, and stretch upon request. As the elder yogini of the class, I see and love the benefits of yoga. I’m grateful I discovered yoga so many years ago and that my practice has evolved tenfold.

I’m off to another class now, this one in a pocket park near our apt. under the sunny skies.

I’ll set my intention before stepping on my mat. I’ll listen to the guided flow of the postures. I’ll internalize the feelings that come from the mind-body connection. Then, I’ll carry that feeling throughout the day.
