Emily came to visit us in Dallas.
She saw our city and lifestyle; she danced, ate, and sat on a Texas longhorn.
We ran and walked in the sunshine; we watched movies when the sun went down.
We shopped and baked and laughed a lot; I kissed her as much as I could.
I have more gratitude and respect for my daughters as I spend time with them as adults.
I love how they’ve grown up and grown wise, and still love their mom.
“A hui hou” I’ll say in the morning, until we meet again.
Stay healthy, happy, and in touch, Emily. Keep reaching for the stars.
