Adventures of an empty nester mom

Invest in yourself

Last year I went on a crossing from New York to Southampton with my Mom. There were many opportunities for learning onboard. One thing I enjoyed was the flower arranging class. That was a wise $30 investment in myself. I have created many arrangements since then, using grocery store flowers and florist flower.

Here are my creations from yesterday’s grocery store bouquet: (one for kitchen window, one for dining room table, one for living room)

Invest in yourself: take a class, read a different kind of book, attend a lecture, and make friends outside your tribe.

I adore my family and friends, meeting new people, travel, food (Gluten-Free please), and belly-laughing. My mantra is HAVE FUN EVERY DAY. I've lived in five US states and two foreign countries. I am grateful, blessed and adventurous. I like to do NDBs (never done before.) I enjoy sharing my creative Empty Nester life.
