We stepped off from Al Ain, five (5) years ago, at daybreak and walked 140km, through the sublime desert in seven days. We grew as a team, trusting and loving each other. We were 23 women from nine (9) different countries. We are all strong, independent, courageous women.
This was the inaugural HISTORICAL Women’s Heritage Walk, 2015 and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
Today, 60 women take off from Abu Dhabi and walk to Al Ain, to commemorate the women of Emirati history.* (see link below)
