Adventures of an empty nester mom

Live a lot

Over the weekend, I traveled from Dallas to Little Rock, Arkansas to attend the wedding of my high school and college friend, Julie.

The venue for the grooms’ family is a gorgeous lodge on a lake, looking at a mountain of trees, on 1200 acres of lush beautiful land.

Upon arrival I took a step hike with Bernie, up and through the trees, then enjoyed seeing the groom’s family at the rehearsal dinner.

Today included  yoga, another hike, and fishing, all before the wedding!!

The joy of the weekend for me  is being welcomed so graciously by the family and enjoying so much quality time with people I love.
We calculated that the bride and groom have over 300 years of weeded bliss as role models for them.

Love hard and enjoy every precious moment.

I adore my family and friends, meeting new people, travel, food (Gluten-Free please), and belly-laughing. My mantra is HAVE FUN EVERY DAY. I've lived in five US states and two foreign countries. I am grateful, blessed and adventurous. I like to do NDBs (never done before.) I enjoy sharing my creative Empty Nester life.
