It’s Monday!! We begin a new week of FUN, learning, explorations, and insights. That’s the gift of Mondays. So, what’s on tap??
My HH and I have secured a new apartment home and we’re readying to move next week. I will purge and organize so our move will be smooth and our downsizing will be seamless and comfortable. We are also exploring new home options for my mother. This requires my emotions to stay in check, her finances to remain in order, and furniture to be creatively placed.
I have also taken on participating in a Zoom call with other young people who are advocates and guardians for parenting aging parents. I was asked to be on the call and I’m very grateful to share.
Additionally, I volunteered to help at an event hosted by my University (Texas A&M). My hope is that I am a contribution to the success of the event and I meet some former students with similar lives and we can nurture friendships based on our shared experiences.
My week finishes with another theatre date with my HH. We’re seeing “Waitress” at the Winspear Opera House. Waitress is a musical with music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles and a book by Jessie Nelson.
With a wide-open mind, I welcome new challenges, new experiences, and certainly new people that come my way, having FUN all the while.
