Sharing some love, light, and a little smile

Remember when we were kids, and we played all day outside with our friends? We knew it was time to go in when the street lights came on. We’d play in the street, in the neighborhood dirt of a building site, and in each others’ yards. Some kids had a swimming pool, some had a trampoline, some had a flat, long driveway where we could roller skate and bike ride. Those were great days and fond memories. We had a pool, a Hoppity Hop and a pogo stick!

Here are some fond memories from my childhood:

Today, we drove around some familiar areas of our childhood, as well as some unchartered neighborhoods. Our targeted destination was a herd of bison and longhorn cattle. Alas, it was nowhere to be found, on three separate map apps. We did encounter some lovely homes, lots of huge trees, and a familiar deli, that was open and served us our brunch for the day.

Finding good in every day is empowering. Every day is not perfect, but there is good in every day.

Happy Sunday!

Stay well. Stay healthy. Stay positive.

Aloha🌺,

Denise
