So far, January has proven to be busy and inspirational.
I attended a St. Louis chapter of Pilgrims on Caminos (mostly hikes in Europe) and gleaned several pearls of wisdom from the experienced participants. My training and packing elevated a notch! Details forthcoming.
A delicious, lively dinner around a cozy round table filled my heart with FRAMILY gratitude. I looked around the table (missed you, Kathleen!) and said a silent “thank you, Universe” for putting these people in my life.
Each morning I get to kiss our youngest daughter good morning and at the end of our full days, another kiss for good night. I’m blessed she came to live with us and share our STL adventures. She’s proving to be a strong, independent young woman, like her older sister, just as I affirmed when they were small. Spending last week with both of them is like a graduation gift to me, as a Mom, I like them so much and the trajectory of their lives.
Empty Nester Mom life is rich, and Boomerang Mom life is sublime.
