Whatever you do today, make sure you’re happy. Today is “Mom’s day out” for me, a.k.a. Terrific Tuesday. I’ll pick up my mom’s mail, assess her fridge needs, then take her to lunch and the grocery store. Weather and stamina dependent, we’ll go on an outing (museum, botanical garden, etc.) and we’ll be happy.
We’ll giggle in line. We’ll talk too loud. We’ll tell stories and anecdotes from her past. We’ll watch people and wonder about their lives. We’ll let the good times roll.
