Over the Labor Day weekend, I took a road trip: I drove to St. Louis to celebrate love and friendship. I had brekky with my first friend in STL, then I witnessed two weddings of two friends’ daughters, then pool and playtime with two more friends. The only other friend I didn’t get to see was out of town. Unfortunately and regrettably, I didn’t get to see our cousins, due to time constraints.
Welcomed as family, and knowing that the lists were limited, I remain incredibly honored and grateful to have been included at these events.
During my visit, I walked along the Katy Trail, under the enormous trees; I ran through Forest Park; I walked around the lake at Cardonolet Park; I toured the Ulysses S. Grant historic site, and drove along a stretch of historic Route 66.
Returning home, I feel refreshed and filled up. I needed to reconnect with my friends and check off a few more STL places to see from my Bucket List.
I remain grateful, thankful and honored, Kathleen, Toni, Kim, Mary & Judi. I’ll see you next time, Barb, Hillard, Mary, and Wendy.
Stay well. Stay positive. HAVE FUN EVERY DAY!
Aloha🌺,
Denise
