Using public transportation

Let’s say you want to explore and you don’t want to drive. I highly recommend using public transportation. In Dallas, we have DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit.) We can choose a light rail train, or a bus, or a GoLink (a car that takes me from someplace to someplace else where there is no easy access to public transport.) There are also transports for mobility challenged people. https://www.dart.org/

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) gets you around Dallas, Texas, and 12 surrounding cities with modern public transit services and customer facilities tailored to make your trips fast, comfortable and economical. Our extensive network of DART Light Rail, Trinity Railway Express commuter rail, bus routes, GoLink on-demand services, and paratransit services moves more than 220,000 passengers per day across our 700-square-mile service area.

Here’s us getting off our train…

Yesterday, we took the train (Red Line) from Downtown out to see family. The ride was smooth, easy, quick, and clean. The funniest part of the trip was we arrived back home with 50 seconds to spare on our $2 ticket.

I love public transportation wherever I go. Try it, you’ll love it too. One of my stores in my book, Just say, “Hi!” A world beyond Hello describes a pivotal moment in my life that took place on a bus.  #justsayhibook

Go explore. Take a train. Use the bus. Take my advice, you’ll see the city in a whole new way.

Aloha,

Denise
